WOW what a week it´s been!
I will just talk about a few highlights because I don´t have too much time, but here goes nothing!
Hermana Santana and I have been exploring part of our area in which I have never really worked at in all of my time here in Ysapy (like 5ish months before she came) and we have just been seeing nothing but miracles I tell ya! We went to go visit some less active members with Hno Meza and Hno Lopez and it was tender to get to minister to them and get to know new parts of our area. We also were able to teach one of the neighbors of the Meza family, Maria and Alcides. It was honestly just such a cool experience with being able to teach and have translation so that Maria would be able to communicate with us! She understands spanish, but does not speak it! Ha it was such a tender mercy! It´s amazing to see what all happens when we truly put all hands on deck to work together with the people in our ward!
Have I told ya about how much I LOVE YSAPY?!?!?!??! It truly is just the absolute BEST PLACE EVER WITH THE BEST PEOPLE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love how much the members truly love being able to work with us in missionary work and it´s so tender to see how Heavenly Father is willing to bless us when we do our part!
I think Saturday might have been one of the biggest highlights of my mission. Hna Santana and I had the privilege of being to the temple open house with our investigator named Sabino Benitez and the ward missionay Hno Lopez and it was AMAZING! It´s so neat to see how Heavenly Father blesses us when we are ready to do our part! Being able to walk through the temple together was BEAUTIFUL! I know that it is a ways that we can receive peace and comfort always! Sabino loved being able to go! He is going to be working towards being baptized on October 26 and I can genuinely say that he is what I would describe as a True Convert! I am grateful that Heavenly Father is giving me the chance to feel the blessings of seeing people decide to completely change their lives to follow Him!
I have just been having the coolest experiences being able to see how Heavenly Father provides the people who are truly prepared to receive the gospel in our paths! Dayhana, a member in our ward, told us of an old schoolmate named Nancy who reached out to her by her Instagram post about the temple and asked more about it. She has a wheelchair that was donated from the church and was expressing interest to find out more information. We had the chance of meeting up with her on Friday with Dayhana and it was such a tender experience! I know that the Plan of Salvation is perfect and that we can always find peace in Christ!
I literally have no words, but a heart full of gratitude because I know that Heavenly Father loves ALL OF HIS CHILDREN no matter where they are from, what their situation is like, or what is going on in their lives. His love is INFINITE! I can bear testimony because I have felt of His love!
I want to invite you all to seek out for His love by reading in the Book of Mormon every single day! I promise that by doing so you will be able to receive peace and comfort! I just love the mission soooooooooo much and the people here in Paraguay!
