Mba'éichapa mis amigos!
WHAT AN AMAZING WEEK IT¨S BEEN! I honestly can´t even believe how dang fast it went by! I ended up saying goodbye to my companion Hermana Torres as she finished her mission on Tuesday and is now in Perú with her family and it was honestly just so bitter sweet! In the midst of a mix of emotions I was able to meet my new or not so new companion who is................. HERMANA TENÓRIO who was my TRAINER in the mission!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL I didn´t even know that was possible, but here we are together for her last change in the mission! LOL It´s just so fun to see how time and experience have led us to be even better people and how we can just pick up where we left off! It´s been very fun to be comps again! This was a great week! I honestly can´t even beleive just how fast it went by! We truly were able to witness many miracles with finding some great new people to teach!
This was a week full of miracles in where we happened to meet a lot of people who were antiguo investiagtors or even part member family. It never ceases to amaze me in just how Heavenly Father has a perfect plan in all things and that he is truly always able and willing to help us learn and grow. We have to decide what we are willing to do to be guided by the Spirit! Something that we´ve been trying to put into action is to open our mouths always and talk with everyone that we meet! We truly have been able to see many fruits of this as some amazing people had been placed in our path! We meet this AMAZING Family, The Acosta Villar Family, yesterday and they were just honestly so attentive to everything we were teaching and were very involved giving their own thoughts, opinions, and asking questions along the way! It was a tender mercy because as we were walking home from having a missionary correlation meeting at the chapel, I felt as if we needed to turn on a certain street that I hadn´t really ever been on before and we were able to find these amazing souls! WHAT A COOL EXPERIENCE! :) We´ve also been teaching the Romero Family in which 3 of the kids are not members of the church and it´s just been a cool experience to see how they have been able to grow their love for our Savior Jesus Christ with every lesson and committment! Personal study is honestly one of my favorite times of the entire day because I am always left so edified! This week I had been studying about how important faith is in our lives, Alma and Amulek´s mission teaching about the Atonement, and some of the counsel that Alma gave to his sone Helaman. Wow. It was honestly just EXACTLY what I needed and I am so grateful that Heavenly Father is always guiding my studies so that I can help the people around me feel the same joy I do about the gospel of Jesus Chirst! I´ve been also studying from the general conference talks from this past conference in April. One of the talks that I really enjoyed studying this week was ¨Hearing His Voice¨by Elder David P. Homer. It was really good to just remember the importance of the Holy Ghost in our everyday lives. I also really resonated with the quote that he had of Richard G. Scott, “When you are living worthily and your choice is consistent with the Savior’s teachings and you need to act, proceed with trust. … God will not let you proceed too far without a warning impression if you have made the wrong decision.” I feel like at times we are quick to question on whether or not we should do something if we are not feeling an impression. I feel like this is something that I´ve truly begun to learn a lot here in the mission and I am truly grateful for it! We MUST exercise the faith in Jesus Chirst to understand that He also trusts us to make decisions when we are relying on the Holy Ghost and in holy places. I hope that you´re all having an AMAZING week and that you ALWAYS remember to read the Book of Mormon every single day. I promise that if you do so, you will be able to find so many answers to questions! I´ve had just so many experiences with that and just truly would like to bear my testimony that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that we have a Father in Heaven that truly answers our prayers and loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to be our Savior! What a blessings!
