Hey y'all!
This week has been pretty darn rainy.......... Like when it rains here it doesn't do the whole cute thing and just sprinkle for a bit and then finish. NO it rains BUCKETS and RIVERS just start to flow! Like I am #SOGRATEFUL for the rain boots good ol' Mercedes Mendoza packed me with because I was able to beat the river and only get sloshed like a few times!
Speaking of rain, this week I had a coooooooooool experience where I was able to see just how apparent the Lord is of our prayers. We have an investigator named Markos and he first started meeting with the missionaries 3 YEARS AGO and we recently started to teach him again like 5 weeks ago and HE FINALLY CAME TO CHURCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like he called us Sunday morning and was like.... Hey so church is cancelled right!?! And we were like.... No it's still on at 9:15 and you're going to come right?!?!?!?!? and he was like.... Yeaaaaaaaaah... I might be late though.
WELL then sacrament meeting started and after the sacrament had almost been finished and I almost lost some hope that he'd come. HE CAME! He was SOAKED from the rain and he came.
What a testimony builder that was for me. I know that Heavenly Father truly hears and answers our prayers. It's honestly beautiful!
I hope you all forgive me for sending a pretty lame email this week, but don't ya worry! Next week I'll send a better one. I just wanted to remind you all that we have a loving Heavenly Father who wants us to find happiness, but the real kind. That is through the love of our Savior Jesus Christ! Reading the Book of Mormon daily will help us to understand who our Savior is and how he can help us each and everyday!
