Hey hey hey everyone!
I hope that you had a great week! I surely did here in Campo Grande! I can{t believe that this change has passed by so dang fast! It seems like yesterday I just got here! Haha :) This week we were able to see a lot of really cool things happen in Campo Grande!
After receiving our map of the area from the office we started marking off all the different sectors of our area of where we work and what not so it would be easier to see and plan for people. We decided that we should try to visit the sectors that I had never been to yet in case I were to stay in the area after this change and ended up trying to see what the sector was like close to the boarders of the Molino Ward in Luque Sud and the other mission. We walked and walked and walked and were just hit by huge building and a lot of CHUCHI (rich) houses (of which we usually don't have too much success with) and were a little sad at the fact, but then also glad to see where we could emphasize our time instead. We tried contacting a lot there and then after walking a ton we realized that we made it into a different sector which happened to be the one of President Evan's House! Hahahahha it was so funny and we stopped by to get some water because it sure was HOT!
This week I was able to study a lot in beginning of the Mosiah chapters of the Book of Mormon and was truly grateful to read about King Benjamin and his teachings! I love the way he expresses of the importance of keeping the commandments. In Mosiah 2:41 he states that when we keep the commandments we are a happier people. I truly know it to be true and believe it with all my heart! When we follow Heavenly Father's commandments we receive joy and peace!
I also found out yesterday that I am going to be TRAINING! That's right! I'm going to have the gran privilege of helping a new missionary learn the ropes of everything and also learn a lot from her! I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to serve a mission and to truly grow as a person each and everyday!
