Hahahahahahaha so we have come to the conclusion that I have developed some allergy here in Paraguay because colds don{t normally last for 3 weeks!
I can{t believe we are already a week in to the new year!!! How is that even a thing?! Haha this week has been pretty crazy and the rain did make a big appearance, but that didn{t stop us wroking hard! I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to be here in Campo Grande working in the mission field! It has truly been so fun and I am ready to continue seeing the blessings of working hard!
I have truly learned the importance of keeping a journal and it has been really fun to look back at when I started my mission to where I am now and what I have learned in almost 8 months! I hope you all are writing in your journals because it truly can be the biggest blessing to you!
This week we had some GREAT lessons with members present (ABSOLUTELY THE BEST THING EVER)! It{s the best because they are able to give an example and show the people we are teaching that there are other people who care about them and want them to be well! I love being able to hear other testimonies of people and know that it truly can make the difference! We even had the opportunity to place a baptismal date with one of our favorite investigators who agreed! We were stoked to hear his reply!
I lastly want to give my testimony about the blessings of receiving promptings from the Holy Ghost! It is so cool to recognize when the Holy Ghost is talking to you. I know that when we are trying to do what is right and coming closer to Jesus Christ we are able to feel more of the promptings of the Holy Ghost. It truly is a still small voice, but when we listen and act we can truly see the blessings and witness miracles!
I hope you all have taken the time to think about the goals you want to accomplish this year. I hope that coming closer to Jesus Christ can be one of them because it will truly change your life completely! Reading the Book of Mormon daily can truly be the thing that helps brighten your day and bring you true joy. I say this because it has done so in my life!
