You heard me right! On Tuesday your homie right here met her daughter for the first time! HAHA, but really! It's just some mission lingo meaning that I am training right now! I am training just the coolest missionary around! Her name is Hermana McCance and she is from Iowa (what are the odds that she's from the Midwest also) and we are just basically the same person! Haha she is filled with laughter and just a really sweet spirit! We have had already some really great laughs and have started making the long list of memories!
This week we had some cool experiences with getting able to teach one of our investigators named Hilda! She is SERIOUSLY THE BEST!!!!!!!! She has been feeling the spirit oh so strong and is truly ready to get baptized! We have just seen such a change in her and one of the best experiences was that she was able to come to church with us yesterday! That marks her second time at church and she honestly was just beaming from excitement! I truly have gained a testimony about the light and happiness that we can feel when we are at church and when we are feeling the Holy Ghost testify of the truth! It doesn't matter what is going on in our life or what things have happened because the Holy Ghost is truly here to teach and testify! He is our Comforter and will always abide with us when we are ready to stand in holy places! (John 16?)
I am so excited to continue growing in the mission because I have honestly seen such a change in myself, and it is a good one I promise! Haha It's a change because I have been growing closer to my Savior Jesus Christ! I know that He lives and loves us. There is nothing that we can do to lose the love and mercy from both the Savior and our Heavenly Father. They are always here to help us be free from the pains and burdens we hold. It is through the Book of Mormon where we can find that peace! SO I challenge you all to read the Book of Mormon EVERYDAY because your lives will truly change!!!!!!!!
