Can you believe that it is 2019 because I surely can't!
Time has literally just been flying and I am so grateful to be here in Paraguay in this great time! Last week was pretty crazy and filled with some great things! I am so grateful to hear that 3 of the kids that I was teaching in Villa Hayes were baptized on Saturday! It's so cool to see that missionary work continues regardless if you are in an area or are moved!
It was so fun being able to spend the day after Christmas with our mission president and his wife! They had us over for dinner and then we ended up getting locked out of our apartment and spent the night at President's house! Hahahah it truly was something that we won't forgot!
This week I have learned quite a lot about the importance of always remembering that our Heavenly Father has a plan for us! Yesterday we were teaching an investigator named Hilda and she has been struggling to see her purpose in life and God's hand. I was reminded that we truly need to take a step back sometimes and understand that Heavenly Father does hear our prayers and always wants us to talk to him! We may not realize, but the Atonement of Jesus Christ is for all of us and covers EVERYTHING!
I also had a cool experience the other day when we went to teach our recent convert Ignacio about the gospel of Jesus Christ and was really humbled to see that he truly loved the scriptures and was reading and learning! It reminded me that even this 80 year old man can be an example for me and for everyone! It doesn't matter how long we have been members or how old we are we must always read the scriptures especially the Book of Mormon each day!
I really loved studying 1 Nephi 21 this week! I know that Heavenly Father loved us sand is always ready to bless us in all of our days!
