Hola amigos,
It's been a great week out here in Villa Hayes and let me just say that I am the blessed one to be here! I am so excited to be out here! DUDE let me just say that I was SPOILED in Loma Pyta and had a wonderful pleasure of being able to use the collectivos at my own pleasure each and everyday to get to all of the different parts of my area. Let me just say that this isn't the type of life I'm living now LOL! In Villa Hayes there are about 3 collectivos that only really take you to the city but take about a million years to come by. It's truly been fun getting some great exercise each day as we walk and walk under the hot sun of Paraguay, and though I've definitely tanned quite a bit I wouldn't change it for anything!
This week we had some cool experiences happen! We were asked by the Branch President to work with a family of recent converts and help them stay active and make sure that everything has been going well for them. While we were there we made some small talk with one of the daughters Lauma who isn't a member of the church. From what we'd heard before she wasn't very interested in our message before and would claim that she was too busy. HOWEVER when we went by she gladly told us what time and days were best for her so we could come by and visit! She is seriously amazing and literally after teaching about the Restoration of the church and teaching about the book of Mormon she accepted a baptismal fecha for just about 4 weeks away! It's so crazy how Heavenly Father has just been placing people who are ready to learn more about Jesus Christ and follow his example in our path!
We have been having about 6 investigators at church for the past two Sundays and to me that is also just such a blessing! I know that Heavenly Father really has a plan for us and through following Jesus Christ and reading th eBOok of Mormon daily we can find out more about it! I really love that and am so happy to be here in the Mission!
I hope you all know how much I love you and hope that if you're ever feeling down or stressed or what ever feeling that you can always turn to our Heavenly Father. I know that He truly listens to our prayers each and every day and loves us!
