ello everyone!
This past week has truly been a really great one and sadly my last one in the BEST area of Loma Pyta! Tomorrow I will find out where I am going and who with, but that makes it even more of a surprise! Hahaha! I know that though I am a little sad to leave that revelation is real and for a reason! After being in Loma for almost 4 1/2 months it's time for me to go somewhere else and meet some amazing people!
I still can't beleive that the prophet was just here a week ago and what a blessing it truly was and I will never ever forget it! I know that we truly a living prophet who leads and guides us!
This week was filled with a lot of rain and even some dogs on the roofs! HAHA that is something that I'll truly never quite understand! But we had an AMAZING lesson this week with our investigator Gustavo! We met him at the beginning of this change and let me tell ya that he was SUPER stubborn and didn't want to change his way of thinking for what we were saying. I have such a strong testimony that having a testimony of the Book of Mormon is CRUCIAL! I know that if we are able to gain a testimony of that everything else comes into place! I really love the opportunity we are all given to read the Book of Mormon. I know that our lives are very hard sometimes and sometimes we may feel hurt and abandoned, but I know that when we read the Book of Mormon each day we are filled with Heavenly Father's love! He loved us so much to give His son Jesus Christ to all of us!
We also threw a ward halloween party in the name of missionary work and it was honestly so so so cute and fun! In Paraguay they don't really celebrate Halloween because of the negative connotation and the fact that people actually do practice witchcraft here! But it was so fun to see all of the kids dress up and what not!
I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have to be here in Paraguay and to serve the Lord each day! I I love the Lord and know that when we pray each day that our prayers are truly answered!
Next week will be filled with my new area and companion! Thanks for all your love and support!
Rohayhu,
Hermana Mendoza
