No other way to finish training

Hey yall!

I seriously cannot believe that I have finished my training in the mission! How does it make sense that 2 transfers have come and gone already?! Wow time surely does fly when you are working hard! With about 3 months spent together with my sweet companion Hermana Tenorio the time has come to part ways and receive new companions. I am going to be staying here in the great Loma Pyta and will find out who becomes my companion tomorrow! My companion Hermana Tenorio is heading out to the Chaco (way North of Paraguay and about 10 hours away from the capital). We{re super sad to leave and finish our time together, but also so excited for what is to come. I know that changes always will bring great things and am excited for what is to come!

This week was a little crazy with finishing this change. I am so so grateful to be able to be apart of this sweet work that is taking place in Paraguay. One of the sweetest moments that has come happened this week. Maribel has been an investigator of the church for 10 YEARS and is married to a less active member. Every Friday we eat lunch at her home and share a message and teach her and her daughter Camila. After hearing missionaries for years and not deciding to act on their compromises, both Camila and Maribel were baptized on Saturday and are just booming with happiness and excitement. It has been absolutely amazing to see just how powerful baptism is and how deciding to follow the example of Jesus Christ truly can change your life.

I am so glad to be able to see the blessings of serving a mission and just want to invite you all reflect on the blessings that you have! I know that when you think about it you will truly become more aware of the Love our Savior has for each and every one of us. Reading the Book of Mormon daily has the power and ability to help us receive the strength we need daily to continue strong.

I love you all so much and hope you know how much our Heavenly Father loves you too!

Much love,

Hermana Mendoza
