I seriously cannot even believe how fast the time is flying here! It seems like I just arrived yesterday, but I have almost been in the mission for 4 months! Time sure flies by when you´re working hard and having fun! Haha!
This week was seriously so crazy with the weather. There were days when it was UBER hot and we were DYING of the heat and then BAMB when you least expect it it begins to rain and then the weather does a 180 and gets super cold! But thankgoodness we finally were able to get our Air Conditioning system installed this week before the cold! Haha It´s funny when thing so simple can really make a big difference, but I was extremely grateful for the jackets my mom packed in my suitcases this week!
Something that I have loved about being here in Loma Pyta is that the members in our ward are amazing! I can´t even express how giving they have been and willing to feed us and give us warm food or clothes because of the weather! This week my companion´s last pair of shoes broke and she was really worried about being able to buy a good pair of shoes that would last more than just a few months and the BAMB an amazing family in our ward surprised her with a gift that contianed brand new shoes! How amazing is that?! I truly have such a strong testimony of how when we are giving all we can give to the Lord, that he will bless us and always prepare a way for us to continue!
This week my companion and I participated in a lot of service and wow there is truly no better feeling than helping others who are in need! I am so so so grateful for the opportunity to be here in Paraguay and to truly dedicate all my time and energy to serving the wonderful people that live here in Paraguay!
This week in my personal study I began reading one of my favorite parts of the Book of Mormon: 3 Nephi 11! Oh how I always get so excited to read about this portion of the Book of Mormon because it gives the account of when Jesus Christ came to visit the Americas. I cannot express how grateful I truly am for the Book of Mormon. I know that there is no other book that can let us feel how strong the love our Savior has. When we read the Book of Mormon and Bible together we are able to understand aun mas el amor que nuestro Padre Celestial y Salvador tienen por nosotros!
