The Church is True and the Book is Blue

Hello everyone!

After a very chilly couple of weeks (it actually gets around low 50s here! #suprise) today it started to feel a little like summer! Hahahaha it's still winter here!

On Tuesday transfers took place and Hermana Tenorio and I had to go to the offices to pick up some things and I GOT TO SEE HERMANA CORTEZ! Hermana Cortez and I met in the CCM and she ended up coming a transfer after me in the mission because of her VISA, but it was so fun to catch up for a little bit!

This week was a little crazy, but I'll just give the highlights!

1. Seeing Hermana Cortez on Tuesday!

2. Celebrating Mili's 16th Birthday with the young women of the ward (Mili is oh so sweet and was born blind, but you could never tell by the way she plays the piano! She plays the piano during church)

3. Our meeting with our Zone was super super good! There are a lot of new missionaries in our zone, so it was fun to meet other missionaries and also get excited about starting off this change on the right foot!

4.This week I was studying the importance of Hope and how we can apply it to our lives and was reminded about how we need to be patient in order to maintain our hope!

This week we my companion and I were focusing on the Book of Mormon and finding ways that we could use it more within our lessons. We had a lesson with one of our investigators Nebuel and his dad Ramon on Friday and WOW it was amazing! We taught the entire lesson with just using the Book of Mormon. To me it was another testimony of how true the Book of Mormon is and that we can truly feel the Love that Heavenly Father has for us by reading this book EVERYDAY!

I promise that if you all read at least a verse to start off each day that your life will change! This book was written for our day and is here to bless us and give us comfort and guidance!

One scripture that I loved a lot this week in my studies was Romans 8:24-25

For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he hope for?

But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it?

SUCH a good reminder and spiritual thought for y'all!!

MUCH LOVE and I hope y'all reminder to read the Book of Mormon each day!
