That awkward moment when the Jehovah Witnesses knock on your door!

What a week this has been!!!

On Tuesday we were hit by the rain and after having our district meeting my companion and I decided to teach a few girls that live next door to us about the Restoration of the Gospel of JEsus Christ! It was SO AMAZING! These little girls are so sweet and were just beeming to talk about Jesus and how much they love him! We all may have been a little wet from the rain, but we wouldn{t have traded the lesson for anything!

On Sunday we found out that our two investigators Maribel and Camila had finally accepted a baptismal date (the missionaries have been working with Maribel for about 12 years) and now Enrique (a less active) has finally decided to help his family follow the example of Jesus Christ and become baptized! It{s so so so amazing to see how the gospel truly changes people and that we can truly grow and see the blessings of the gosple in our lives each day. We had a noche de hogar with this family on Wednesday and it was so so sweet to see how much their desires have grown!

On Thursday we went to Moroni with Fatima (a recent convert) and showed her to do family history° It was soooooo amazing to see how much she loved it! Family History is truly something that we can all do and is a great way to connect with our families! I just love it so much! SO If you all want to try to learn more about your family and connect more with them go to familysearch.com and create your story! I promise you will love it and truly see the blessings that come from it!

Thursday we also went to go visit a few referrals with a member from San Jorge (a different ward) and wow. It was so neat to see how the gospel heals hearts. One of the referrals we visited has a young son with cancer and right now her heart is broken. I shared with her my testimony of the gospel and how much it has changed my life and helped her see how through Jesus Christ all is possible!

OH AND Saturday morning the Jehovah witnesses knocked on our door and shared a lesson about marriage because they thought at first that my comp and I were married LOL. We explained that we were just companions that are sharing the gospel, but it was oh so funny!

So I just want to let you all know that nothing is impossible for our Heavenly Father. I have really seen how much love He has for us and that we can always rely on Him and pray for comfort!

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!

Keep reading the Book of Mormon daily to receive the daily strength that is availiable through every page! I promise that if you do so the miracles will start becoming more apparent in your daily life!

MUCH LOVE,

Hermana Mendoza
