Your face looks like you would like platanos

Hello everyone! I just wanted to let y'all know that I this week was so good! I can't even believe that I've been in the CCM for 2 weeks already! Does the time fly by or what?!

Okay so this week I learned some solid lessons that I'd like to share with y'all! The first being that when times get tough it is so important to get down on your knees and pray your little heart out! I have experienced the blessings of what comes when you humble yourself before Heavenly Father in a heartfelt prayer. I am so thankful to have the Holy Ghost as my guide during all of this training in the MTC because I don't know what I'd do without it! So please don't forget to pray guys!!

On Wednesday all the missionaries participated in service around the CCM and my companion Hermana Smith, Hermana King, and Hermana Jensens, and I were told to clean the Matas (plants) and Ojas (leaves). We were a little confused to say the least and when we asked what it meant the Elder took us to the fake plants around the CCM to wipe them down! Haha it was so funny!

Oh and throughout this time in the CCM we have teach people who are not members of the church what we believe and the different lessons include the restoration, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the plan of salvation just to name a few. Hermana Smith and I had received two new investigators and one of them, Maria, fell asleep during our lesson and randomly started sayin the closing prayer! It was freaky but funny!

The highlight of this week was by far finally breaking free out of the CCM and going proselyting IN BOGOTA! Thats right you heard me! my companion and I were able to have a third companion as we taught lessons to real people in bogota and also did some contacting! It was so so amazing and just got us so excited for the field! OH I LOVE THIS WORK SO MUCH!!! We witnessed miracles and saw people truly get excited about the message we had to share about our Savior Jesus Christ!

While we were in the Bogota South mission we ended up meeting all back together in the Kingston stake center to wrap things up! Hermana Smith and I were just messing around on the piano and then one of the Hermanas serving in the Bogota mission asked to sing a duet with me! It was so sweet and she was amazing! We ended up singing for all of the missionaries.

Speaking of singing Hermana Smith and I last minute were asked to give the special musical number on Sunday! Haha I am grateful my dad already prepared me with some of those!

Life is so great and I just want you all to remember that we were meant to be happy!

Proverbs 3:5-6 is my go to scripture right now because it is so great!

Much love and hope you all have a great one!!
